Reportage Wedding Photography in Hampshire
My name is Adam, I am Hampshire wedding photographer with a passion for good photography, happy endings and capturing the moment. My relaxed style will put even the most nervous guest at ease. This allows me to effortlessly capture your wedding party having a wonderful time. One of my favourite things about weddings is the mix of stunning scenery, impressive architecture, personal stories and raw emotions. When it comes to wedding photography Hampshire has a lot of breathtaking scenery and impress venues to offer.
Wedding Photographer Hampshire
It is also an honour to be a your Hampshire wedding photographer. I photographed my first wedding in 2007. The bride and groom loved the photographs so much that I was full of positive pride. Since then, I have photographed over 200 weddings. Each and every wedding I have had the honour of photographing has been enjoyable from start to finish. The thing I really love about weddings is that they are truly personal and unique to each couple. Of course, most weddings follow a pretty similar pattern, but there is so much room for personalisation between the main events.
When it comes to wedding photography Hampshire is one of my favourite county. It boasts some truly beautiful British countryside. With some deep forests of towering trees and iconic country cottages nestled into the countryside. As a Hampshire wedding photographer, it’s my job to make sure all of this beauty makes it into your wedding album. Luckily, a lot of the wedding venues in this charming county make this pretty easy for me. With so many impressive venues set amongst the villages and towns within the borders of Hampshire. You are only ever a few short minutes away from some of the natural beauty that Hampshire has to offer. And I already photographed weddings at number of venues in Hampshire: Froyle Park, Rivervale Barn, The Elvetham Hotel.
Telling the Story
I think the main aspect of my job as a Hampshire wedding photographer, is to tell a story. I don’t see myself as a director but as a story teller. Therefore, I won’t be telling your guests where to stand. Instead I’ll simply be snapping away to make sure I capture the day as it unfolds. I will weave my way around your venue, not getting in anyone’s way, snapping away to capture what’s happening. With my relaxed and unobtrusive style, some of your guests won’t even notice I’m there. Taking photos in this reportage style allows me to get natural shots. Photos that really capture a moment rather than awkward posed shots that may have made up the bulk of traditional wedding albums. These days, most couples want a more modern album that serves to narrate their wedding day to them.
You can decide how long you want me to stay for. I am most commonly asked to turn up before the ceremony, as the bridal party are getting ready, to capture the preparation for the day ahead. Most couples choose to have me photograph the entire day. With exception while you are the eating of the meal, not many people want photos to remember the soup caught in Uncle Jim’s beard! And usually finishing after the first dance has been shared on the dance floor.
And many couple ask me to stick around longer, photographing the dance floor until the early hours. This is how you end up with some pretty amazing shots. Although your guests may not be too pleased when they see their drunken dance floor moves!
I am happy to take a number of group shots. As I know there are probably some friends and family groupings that you can’t bear not to have. It’s useful to have lists of the ones you want in advance. You’ll also probaly need a few helpers on the day to round people up and make sure everyone is where they should be. I usually try to do these photographs as soon as ceremony is over, so that your guests can then be free to run off and enjoy the bucks fizz.
Wedding Photos in Hampshire
I know you probably don’t want the pictures taken right in front of an audience. So we’ll explore the venue and grounds looking for some beautiful spots to take some shots. I like to include a few artistic shots too. These photos are usually quite impressive, stark, romantic, enchanting and mesmerising. Maybe not all at once! We will find somewhere beautiful that will make the perfect backdrop for such a picture. With the lighting conditions just right, the two of you will relax and enjoy some time together as I take a few photos. It won’t take long, but these images might end up being your favourites from the day. I know they are always some of the ones I am most proud of, especially when I find out they are hung in my clients’ homes!
If you would like to see some examples of my work, take a look around my website both the portfolio and blog. It is full of my favourite photographs from the weddings I have photographed. You’ll be able to see for yourself just how well reportage style photography works for wedding pictures, and how beautiful the artistic shots can be. If you’d like to find out a little more about how I work, check out the testimonials page. Here you’ll find references from former clients, giving you an insight into how I work and the service I provide. If you want to know more, get in touch.
We can have a chat on the phone, converse by email or we can arrange to meet for coffee in Hampshire. I can show you my portfolio and tell you a little bit more about my experience and the way I work. At the same time, you can tell me about your wedding. You can show me the styles of photography you love, and those you don’t. You can tell me what you want the day to be like, and how you imagine your wedding photography will look. I might be able to offer advice of things to consider, and talk you through how I could make your vision a reality.
If you think we’re a good fit, you can book me to be your wedding photographer. I often receive bookings in advance, so don’t leave it till the last minute. Many couples organises their wedding two years in advance, so they can book me up that early. I’m a full time wedding photographer, but you might be surprised at how quickly my time fills up. The summer months are especially busy, as I’m sure you can imagine, so get in touch without delay.
I don’t only photograph weddings in Hampshire, but I am also happy to travel to any of the Local counties and other parts of the UK.
If you are looking for wedding photographer in Hampshire, please contact Adam – London Wedding Photographer to discuss your wedding requirements. I often get bookings pretty early in advance, so it’s always worth dropping me a line to check if I’m free on your big day. Together we can chat through ideas and discuss your wedding. It’s my job to create the wedding album of your dreams, and it’s a job I take great pride in doing, so I’ll want as much information as possible about your taste, style and likes so that I can get it right.
