Hello! I’m Adam – a little bit about me!
“It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.” — Alfred Eisenstaedt
Welcome. My name is Adam, and I am the owner of Adams Wedding Photography.
When you invest in wedding photography, you also invest in the photographer, so I’d love for you to know a bit more about me.
I studied English Literature and Culture Studies in Krakow where I wrote my Masters thesis on Photography.
I then worked as an English teacher in Poland for three years before moving to London in 2002. When I came here I treated it as an adventure, and planned to go back to Poland after six months to set up my own English School. But life sometimes has different plans for us and I’ve now been here for 14 years!.
I have had various jobs in the UK but one of note was as an International IT trainer for clinical trials software. I lived a luxurious jet setter life for 5 years and travelled all over the world from Tokyo, to Miami, Istanbul and more. Although it was a great job it didn’t fulfil me because I didn’t have scope to express my creative and artistic side.
Photography has been my secret dream since I was eight years old when I was given my first camera as a present. However, I did not dare to think that it might be a career opportunity until I photographed my first wedding in 2007. Both the bride and the groom loved the pictures so much, it encouraged me to pursue this dream. So I eventually handed in my resignation and became a full-time wedding photographer. Why? Simply because I love photography and I love people. To date I have shot over 200 weddings!
Besides loving London, the English language and the UK, I also love the Latin/Spanish language, culture and cuisine (and that includes red wine – Argentinian Malbec is my favourite!).
I also love exploring our beautiful planet and meeting new people, so far I have been to around 40 countries. I am fluent in English, Spanish, Polish and am competent in Russian.
An old Chinese proverb says ‘Find yourself a job that you love and you will never have to work again’…So, here I am. I love people, their stories and photography. This is why I am a Wedding Photographer.
