Welcome.

My name is Adam, and I am the owner of Adams Wedding Photography.

When you invest in wedding photography, you also invest in the photographer, so I’d love for you to know a bit more about me.
I studied English Literature and Culture Studies in Krakow (Poland) where I wrote my Masters thesis on Photography.

I then worked as an English teacher back in Poland for three years before moving permanently to London in 2002. When I came here I treated it initially as an adventure, and planned to go back to Poland after six months to set up my own English School. But life sometimes has different plans for us and I’ve now been here for 17 years! And in the meantime I even became a British Citizen by Naturalization (what a strange word ! :)

I have had various jobs in the UK but one of note was as an International IT trainer for clinical trials software. I lived a luxurious jet setter life for 5 years and travelled all over the world from Tokyo, to Miami, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and many many more. Although it was a great job it didn’t fulfill my creative and artistic side.

Photography has been my secret dream since I was eight years old when I was given my first camera as a present. However, I did not dare to think that it might be a career opportunity until I photographed my first wedding in 2007. Both the bride and the groom loved the pictures so much, it encouraged me to pursue this dream.

So I eventually handed in my resignation and became a full-time wedding photographer. Why? Simply because I love photography and I love people. To date I have shot over 200 weddings!

Besides loving London, the English language and the UK, I also love the Latin/Spanish language, culture and cuisine (and that includes red wine – Argentinian Malbec is my favourite!).

I also love exploring our beautiful planet and meeting new people, so far I have been to around 40 countries. I am fluent in English, Spanish, Polish and am competent in Russian. My little secret to reveal here is my love for motorbikes, the old and slow ones as “the speed is the enemy of contemplation” if you know what I mean? Few years ago, I really wanted to feel like Che Guevara and committed this amazing trip in Argentina and Chile, please have a look if you like nature and  landscapes – there is also slideshow below.

An old Chinese proverb says ‘Find yourself a job that you love and you will never have to work again’…So, here I am. I love people, their stories and photography. This is why I am a Wedding Photographer.

If you scroll down you will find plenty of testimonials fro the couples I had a privilege to photograph, and if you would like to read more of them there is over 50 positive reviews on google!

Frequently asked questions

In short – FUN. The longer answer is that my photography is natural and documentary style. I follow the events of the day, photographing unobtrusively to capture real moments as they happen. I tend not to pose our shots unless you would like me to. The goal is to tell the story of your Wedding Day, capturing all the fun and emotions through beautiful images; that is my style.

Yes, of course. We can meet, I tend to meet with couples in West London area, usually in Westfield Shepherds Bush or in Ealing Braodway. Or we can have a Skype or Whatsapp video call – almost liek face to face meeting.

Yes, I do take photographs of groups. People usually like to gather for their pre-planned group shots with close family and friends right after the ceremony. It is rare for a couple to have no group shots, with most couples getting towards a few portraits with family members.

My style is reportage and I follow the day unobtrusively … but I also do pose couple at certain stages, although I do not like the word POSING, I prefer “action-reaction” IDEAS that evoke emotions and natural poses.

Yes, although I am primary a reportage photographer I always shoot all the details just like most other photographers as my ultimate goal is to provide you with breathtaking images of the entire day.

I am London Based Wedding Photographer but I am able to photograph your wedding at any location. Expenses for travel and accommodation are recovered at cost..

I use two professional Canon 5d MK III digital camera and prime lens systems (24mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.2 and 85mm 1.8), these lenses are top quality and allow me to photograph most situations without the need of using the flash (but I obviously have them for special situations). Canon cameras sit very well my inconspicuous style and I love the colours the Canon cameras deliver. The nature of digital means that each image starts life as a colour photo and I shoot in RAW format. Any changes to black and white or sepia tones are conversions done in a later process.

Yes, I always carry back up cameras, lenses, batteries etc… to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly from my end.

Yes, each couple will get the access code for their private secure gallery from where (if you like) you can order very high quality printouts both on paper and canvas.

Yes, I design all the Albums myself, and they receive lots of attention and love as well as all my pictures. The printing is done by a professional Lab and they are available in different sizes and with various covers. I will bring with me and show you my sample wedding Albums when we meet.

We sign a contract and I ask for a 20% booking fee to secure your date.
