Some of My favourite Asian Wedding Photos
Indian Wedding Photography
What I love most about my job as Asian Wedding Photographer, is getting to capture the different traditions and rituals. Therefore, many couples choose to include them always in their celebrations. From the wedding ceremony to the vidai, I will make sure each tradition is captured. I have a very modern approach to photography. As a result, this approach allows me to capture the beauty, elegance and glamour of Hindu weddings.
I understand that while you may love my photography style, your parents may prefer you to choose a more traditional photographer. Therefore they want to make sure the photographer you choose understands the cultural. As well as your religious and historical importance of each aspect of the wedding celebrations. And you want someone who will take beautiful, modern, stylish photographs. Well, let me reassure you that, I am well immersed in Asian culture. I have visited India many times. Shooting a beautiful 4 days wedding in Bengaluru. I have photographed a great number of Asian weddings since as well here in the UK. As a result I understand the traditions that are unique.
Natural Style Asian Hindu Wedding Photography
Unlike some modern wedding photographers, I am more than happy to take group photographs. Though I specialise in documentary style, I am happy to take group shots. This is to ensure all of your friends and family are included in your wedding album. So I know that Asian wedding celebrations can take much longer than a single day, and can attend and photograph as many events as you like. Therefore I’m more than happy to come along and photograph your Mehndi night. As capturing memories of the very beginning of your wedding celebrations.
For example, at some Hindu weddings, the bride and groom exchange garlands as well as wedding rings. These bright and beautiful garlands make for some pretty impressive wedding photographs. Capturing the vibrant colors in the room is always very exciting. Asian weddings are pretty unique in that. They recognise the sadness that the bride and her family may feel as the wedding signifies her moving from the family home. The dole ceremony for example (characteristic to Punjabi weddings) can be quite emotional. As well as another tradition where the bride scatters rice to symbolise happiness and prosperity in her parents’ home.
I am reliable and punctual, so you won’t have to worry about me showing up late. Moreover, I’ll actually be there early to make sure I don’t miss even a moment of your big day. It is always a privilege and an honour to photograph a wedding. My favourite part of the job is seeing how pleased my clients are with the finished photographs, it’s always lovely to hear I got it right.
