Dorney Court is an early Tudor Grade I listed mansion that looks like it has been lifted right out of a fairytale. The beautiful crooked roof, the ornate wooden fascias and the leaded windows give Dorney Court a stunning aesthetic. In addition, the house has been preserved through the generations, giving it a rich historical feel and making you feel like you have stepped back in time. The mansion’s interior is filled with dark wood paneling, historical portraits and tall echoey ceilings.
Wedding Ceremony at Dorney Court’s Church
Tina and Brian’s ceremony took place in Dorney Court’s church, a stunning church amongst the grounds of Dorney Court. The church is beautiful inside and out, making it a gorgeous place to photograph wedding ceremonies. Tina and Brian exchanged vows, surrounded by friends and family, who looked on excitedly.

Outdoor Hindu Wedding Ceremony
Tina and Brian celebrated their marriage with several traditions and rituals from their heritages. After the church ceremony, the couple changed outfits and headed outside for a traditional Hindu ceremony. Then, as a statue of Ganesha looked on, Tina and Brian enjoyed another ceremony to celebrate their wedding. I loved seeing so many traditions and rituals in one day; it was such a beautiful celebration of their union.
The wedding reception took place in the Coach House Barn, a Tudor building retaining all its original charm. Strings of fairy light lit the room from the exposed wooden beams of the ceiling, giving the room a dreamy glow. The top table sat in front of a huge floral backdrop which looked simply stunning on the day.
Reception on the Grounds
Dorney Court has a lot to offer, especially in the grounds. As their guests mingled and celebrated, Tina and Brian stole a moment of quiet on an otherwise hectic day. As they took a romantic stroll around the grounds, I followed to get some natural shots of the happy couple relaxing together on their wedding day. There’s a lovely image of Tina and Brian looking at each other before a bed of lavender. The rich greens of the trees, shrubs and grasses look divine against the purple flecks of the lavender.
There’s a photo of Tina and Brian gazing into each other’s eyes outside Dorney Court House, and it’s simply beautiful. The gorgeous brick building and tumble-down roof are in the background, with the rich greens and vibrant purples of foliage in the foreground as the happy couple share a private moment.
