Wedding Photography Somerset

HI, I am  Adam, a friendly and professional Somerset wedding photographer. I know how lucky I am to have my dream job. I get to spend my days photographing happy, in love couples, surrounded by their friends and family in amazing locations. It doesn’t get much better than that really, does it? I take my job very seriously because I know how important memories are. Many of my couples tell me that the photography is the single most important detail of the day. This is because it will preserve their memories forever. As somebody who is rarely spotted without a camera, I can definitely see the logic in this! I pride myself on producing the wedding album my clients were hoping for.

Wedding Photographer Somerset

I have been passionate about photography since the age of eight, when I was given my very first camera. I’ve come a long way since then, and am proud to say I have made a career from doing something I love. I photographed my first wedding in 2007 and have now photographed over 200 weddings. I have travelled all over the world for work. On many occasions photographing weddings across Somerset, the UK and even the world. For a wedding photographer Somerset has a lot to offer in the way of breathtaking views, stunning scenery and expansive farmlands.

It’s one of my favourite places to visit, in fact. The people, the scenery and the weather never fail to impress me (well, ok, maybe sometimes the weather could be a little better). As a wedding photographer Somerset is a place I visit quite regularly. I am based in London, but travel all across the UK to capture weddings. Unsurprisingly, there are quite a few wedding in this beautiful corner of the world and so I find myself visiting quite often. I had the privilege to photograph weddings at St Audries Park and Walled Garden Orchardleigh Estate. Somerset is also a place I love to visit for fun with my camera. I can happily spend a day strolling through the open countryside. As I love exploring streams, fields and forests with just my camera for company.

Telling the Story of your Day – Reportage

If you choose me as your Somerset wedding photographer, your guests will be put at ease. This is thanks to my relaxed and informal style. I am particularly good at working with people. People who aren’t so confident in front of the camera because my unobtrusive style puts them right at ease.

I won’t be telling your guests where to stand or asking anyone to shout ‘Cheeeese!’. Instead I’ll simply be capturing the day as it unfolds. Rather than directing the direction, I’ll be looking out for the action and making sure I capture it all through my lens. I’ll capture the catching up between old friends, the drunk giggles as your bridesmaids share memories. Aa well as the kids running through the gardens to burn off steam, and your grandma tucking into a slice of wedding cake.

As your Somerset wedding photographer, I’ll make sure I capture the big moments for you. I’ll take that photograph of you starting into each other’s eyes as you stand at the altar. And the photograph of you laughing together as you cut into your beautiful cake. And the smile on your face as the groom gives his speech and tells the whole room just how much he loves you. I’ll capture all of those things, but I’ll also capture something bigger than that. As your wedding photographer Somerset, I’ll capture the atmosphere of your big day. I’ll capture the raw emotions, the love and the laughter. I’ll capture the details so that when you look back on the photos in the future, you are transported back to that place in time.

Capturing Real Moments

I pride myself on my photographs capturing a moment so well that you can almost taste, smell and hear it just be looking at the picture. I also want my photographs to tell a story. The story of your big day. As your Somerset wedding photographer, I want to produce a wedding album that will tell your story from start to finish. I want the first photographs to set the scene, showing the gorgeous establishing shots of your venue. And I want the last page to show the last photo taken. Whether that was the two of you arm in arm on the dance-floor or showing a secret kiss under the glow of a streetlamp in the privacy of the gardens. The album should remind you who was there, how you felt and what you did on your important day.

I don’t only photograph weddings in Somerset, but I am also happy to travel to any of the Local counties and other parts of the UK or abroad for destination weddings.
