Engagement Photos of Mia and Brian in Hyde Park, London
As much as I love photographing weddings, it’s always nice to get a request to do something different. In this case I got a call from about Brian asking me to photograph his marriage proposal. Mia and Brian flew all the way from Germany to London for what Mia thought was a nice trip away, including a couple’s photography session in Hyde Park. Little did she know that on the day of the shoot, Brian’s backpack contained a sparkly diamond ring.
Real Engagement Photo Shoot in Hyde Park
After a week of cold and rainy weather, we were graced with a fine autumn day. Both Mia and Brian were very comfortable in front of the camera and this really shows in the photographs. We strolled around taking photos until we reached Brian’s location of choice for his proposal – the Joy of Life fountain – yes, very apt! As you can see from the photographs below, she said YES, which is always a relief for everyone, including me!! It was a complete honour to both witness and capture the pure joy on their faces, it was very beautiful and very emotional. After we’d all calmed down, we ended the session by taking some photos as the sun went down in the golden hour, and then took a quick trip to Tower Bridge for some final shots after dark.
