Chinese Wedding Photography in London, UK

Living in London gives me an extra edge as a Chinese wedding photographer. It means I know this city like the back of my hand. I have photographed weddings at a whole host of the impressive venues this city has to offer. Because I live within the city, I can make a number of trips to your venue in the run up to the wedding. This allows me to soak up the atmosphere, find inspiration and work out where the perfect places to shoot are.

Door Games and Tea Ceremony

I am experienced in Chinese weddings. And have an understanding of many of the cultural traditions and practices that make Chinese weddings so special. I know that each wedding is different. And that you may have chosen to include only a few elements of a traditional Chinese wedding in your big day. But rest assured that I will understand and capture these traditions for you. From the Chinese wedding door games to the tea ceremonies and gift exchanges. So I will make sure I will take beautiful photographs of these traditions for your wedding album.

So, if you are looking for a Chinese wedding photographer and you want to find out more, check my availability or simply ask a few questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Vibrant Colours – Red

It is always a pleasure to be invited to photograph a Chinese wedding. And one of the things I love most about Chinese weddings is the vibrant colours. The beautiful bright colours, the music, the laughter and the energy mean that it is always a day to remember. I specialise in reportage style wedding photography. An this means that I try to blend into the background during the reception and take photographs of your guests as though I am a fly on the wall. I keep my eyes open for special moments and beautiful scenes so that I can capture them for your wedding album. As the bride and groom, you will be pretty busy on the day itself, so it’s my job to capture the moments you might miss.

I will capture the big moments of your wedding – the vows, the tea ceremony and the first dance. But I’ll also capture so much more than that, I’ll capture the emotion and the mood of your wedding. And I’ll capture those seemingly inconsequential little in between moments that make your wedding unique. The tear on your father’s cheek as he sees you in your wedding dress for the first time. Or the laughter on your grandma’s face as she whispers a secret to your new husband. And of course the laughter and enthusiasm your guests have for the day.

Natural Chinese Wedding Photography in London and the rest of UK

Weddings are not just about the legal act of marriage. They are also about your friends and family coming together to celebrate the love you feel for each other. To share in your happiness, and to wish you a bright future. I pride myself on capturing all of this in my photographs, because I think all of this is just as important as the moment you say ‘I do’.

A big part of my job is making sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed whilst I’m taking photographs. Nobody wants awkward looking wedding photos! My friendly, relaxed style will put you both at ease. So that I can snap away and get some gorgeous photographs of the two of you enjoying your big day.

I hope that when you receive the finished album, you will be reminded of passing moments you had forgotten. Of jokes that had slipped your mind. And of the love and joy you felt on that day as you started this important chapter of your life. It may sound like no easy feat, but I see this as an important part of my job. Being a Chinese wedding photographer is about so much more than taking nice photos. It’s about telling a story, capturing emotions and creating memories that people will treasure for a lifetime. And that’s one of the reasons why I love my job so much, because it’s so important.
