Tamil Hindu Wedding Photos at The Centre Banqueting in Southall, London

I am Adam, a London Wedding Photographer .The wedding of Sara and Anojan was very exciting for all of their family and friends and also myself. Their Tamil Hindu wedding events started with the Mehndi night, an event at Sara’s home with henna painting, games and goooood food. The next event was the wedding day which started with the milk ceremony early in the morning – you can see from the photos that Sara really enjoyed it 🙂. I shot this wedding along with Patryk, who spend the morning with Anojan.

We then went to the The Centre Banqueting in Southall for the main celebrations and to witness the traditional Tamil Hindu wedding ceremony. This included plenty of coconut cracking, Sanskrit prayers and songs, and the climax of the wedding which was the tying of the Thali chain around Sara’s neck. This is the most important part of the Tamil Hindu wedding ceremony, as it is the moment that Sara and Anojan were officially married according to Hindu tradition.
