I am Adam, London Wedding Photographer. Welcome to my Dartmouth House wedding photography page. I am an onlooker, and it is my job to capture the moments that people will want to remember forever. Rebecca and Duncan chose the perfect location for their wedding ceremony. I love shooting weddings here. One of my favourite shots from this wedding, is the photo of Rebecca climbing the iconic staircase, her bridesmaid following just behind, as she prepares to walk down the aisle. I hope that whenever Rebecca looks at this photograph, she is reminded of the butterflies in her stomach as she made her way up those marble stairs, her last few steps as a single woman.

In every room, there are beautiful backdrops for staged and impromptu photos alike. The beauty of the venue simply adds to the warmth and excitement of the wedding, and this is a beautiful thing to capture on the photos. As a wedding photographer, I spend a lot of my time in beautiful venues, but Dartmouth House London is undoubtedly one of the finest. The elegant marble, and the beautiful dark wood, both make for wonderful backdrops.

Celebrating Your Big Day at Dartmouth House

Rebecca and Duncan are such a lovely couple, and were a pleasure to work with. Their love for each other, as well as their style and elegance, come across strongly in the photographs from their big day. It is always an honour to be asked to document a couple’s wedding day, but especially when the couple are as perfect for each other as these two.

As a Dartmouth House Wedding Photographer I was lucky enough to spend the day with them, capturing each special moment from their wedding. I started my day taking photos of Rebecca beginning her transformation to blushing bride, and I finished the day documenting their first dance as husband and wife. All couples have different wants and needs for their photo list, but Rebecca and Duncan wanted the images to capture the spirit of the day. In the collection, there are lots of photos of the happy couple laughing and having fun throughout the day. Capturing the raw emotions of the day is a special task, and one that becomes a joy with a couple as happy as Rebecca and Duncan.

Here is a wide selection of the black and white photos which I believe suit the wedding and the venue very well.

Dartmouth House in Central London Mayfair

Dartmouth House is an elegant mansion in London’s Mayfair. Boasting an enclosed courtyard, it makes the perfect setting for a stylish and unique wedding in central London. Dartmouth House was originally constructed in the 16th century, and then lovingly converted into a luxury townhouse in the 19th century. The house is a Grade II listed building because of its rich and important history. This venue has the ability to offer both elegant banquets for large parties, and intimate wedding ceremonies for close friends and family.

Dartmouth House has a number of outstanding features, including the majestic marble staircase with its imposing wrought iron balustrades, the fountain located in the bewitching courtyard, and the stately Churchill room with its breathtaking architecture. Everywhere you look, there is something to take your breath away. Something really special for a Dartmouth House Wedding Photographer.

Best Dartmouth House Wedding Photography

Rebecca and Duncan’s wedding photos are a mix of reportage and posed shots. The posed shots are the special must-haves that Rebecca and Duncan wanted. These include the images of them as newlyweds, taken just after they said I do, happy and proud as they embark on married life. These photographs make use of the beautiful location, and we made our way around the venue taking photos in front of the house’s various landmarks.

I see my role as a photographer as documenting the day, rather than orchestrating it. I like to work my way around the room, capturing moments as I see them. As the bride and groom, you are often too busy hosting to keep of track of what’s happening around you. My photographs aim to help you experience the wedding all over again, and see the bits you may have missed the first time round.
